An Elegant, Classic Swan Valley Wedding for Sammie and Brad

Sammie and Brad’s wedding was something out of a fairytale, and the day couldn’t have epitomised their relationship any better. The Swan Valley was the perfect canvas for them to play with, and these two souls chose to celebrate (19 November 2022) with the coming together of fabulous festivities truly in line with a wonderland of romance.

Both in separate rooms at The Vines Resort, Sammie took pride of place amongst her bridal party, family and her and Brad’s son Jaxson as she got ready. And as the celebrations kicked off with a glass of bubbly, before long it was time for Sammie to put on her beautiful lace gown. A classic and delicate style dress, each feature showed how much work was put into the design as Sammie was its perfect fit. Her style called for the same genre of portraits – elegant, sophisticated and endless in time, so a simple white wall was ideal for portraits of her.

With the groom not too far away, it was simple enough to get to him pre-ceremony – and little Jaxson made his way to see dad too! Some final touch ups, including shoes and jacket, were the moments captured for Brad, who looked cool, calm and collected with his groomsmen. Even his boy put on a suit to show his mama what a handsome little fella he was.

I drove ahead to get to Sitella Winery (Swan Valley) to get pre-nuptial shots of the bride and groom arriving in a classic car, and the bridal party was definitely ready to get their groove on so it wasn’t long before Brad walked over to wait at the gazebo followed closely by Sammie coming down the aisle. It was a beautiful ceremony with the sun shining, the perfect day to witness their vows, and after the exchanging of rings, first kiss and signing of documents, fun was had with walking back up the aisle amongst the guests followed by photos with everyone.

Sammie and Brad’s bridal shoot was done on site at Sitella – it’s fantastic when you can combine ceremony, photo shoot and reception all at the one place. There’s no stress to get to the locations on your list, you save a bit on vehicle expenses and have all your amenities to freshen up before heading in to party the night away!

Sitella Winery had an abundance of locations for us to head to, and we started just near the gazebo with the vineyards as a backdrop. We soon made our way to wooden slate walls that gave a true country feel, and after finally relaxing a bit more in front of the camera, made sure we got pictures with the car and more within the vineyards before heading back to the winery’s main building for the reception.

To Sammie and Brad, all the best for a happy and joyous marriage. Your wedding day was filled with so much personality that I can truly see how well you both connect to one another, and your son Jaxson is a very lucky boy to have parents like yourselves. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day, and may the rest of your lives be filled with wedded bliss.
