Who is Dennis Tan??? Dennis isn’t the “let me Who is Dennis Tan??? Dennis isn’t the “let me put my face out there” type—he’d rather stay behind the camera. But to mark 10 years of shooting weddings, he reluctantly stepped into the spotlight (briefly). 😗 Dennis didn’t exactly choose photography—it kind of tripped him up (literally) 🤕. After a hip injury sidelined his triathlon career, he needed a way to stay close to the action. So, he picked up a camera 📸, figuring if he couldn’t race, he’d at least capture the sweat, grit, and occasional victory dance 🏅 from the sidelines. What started as a way to stay connected soon turned into an obsession 🎯. The more he shot, the more he fell for the craft—especially storytelling through images 🎞️. So, he swapped software engineering 💻 for shutter speeds and jumped into photography. Eventually, he discovered weddings 💍—turns out, they’re just as fast-paced as a triathlon, but with fancier outfits and (usually) less sweat. Dennis is known for authentic, candid works and beautiful motion-infused stills. He has a knack for making even the most camera-shy folks forget they’re being photographed—because, let’s be real, stiff poses belong in yearbooks, not wedding albums. A well-traveled, multilingual Chinese Malaysian, Dennis brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity to his work. LGBTQ+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈 and inclusive, he ensures every love story is captured with authenticity and respect. Growing up without many photos of his childhood 📷, he understands the true value of preserving life’s biggest moments—one click at a time. You’re getting visual storytelling that’s alive, authentic, and maybe, just maybe, a few laughs along the way 😄.
